Just got back from my first checkup since starting Invisalign. My dentist wants to see me before every other tray, so I get a new tray at my appointment plus my next set of trays to take home with me. It's fun to rip into the next package to see the progress I'll be making... helps keep me motivated! So far so good, but I'm a little nervous to get my first IPR before tray #5.

    Nice... seeing progress is great.. I'm gonna try to take pictures once a week and make a slideshow one of these days.

    I take pictures once a month on my debanding date (so around the 8th of each month). I now have 16 folders of pictures of my teeth. It's crazy to watch the progress!!

    Please don't be nervous about IPR. I've had it done a few a few times and it's a great way to make space without the need to remove a tooth. For me it's been a painfree and very easy process.

    Great to hear you're keeping on track with your treatment. Don't worry about the IPR. It is really a very standard procedure. If you want to see what it looks like, here's a video of one of my dental staff getting IPR from me .

    Thanks for linking to that video. I've read multiple posts on the boards about how painless IPR is, but seeing the video definitely helped set my mind at ease.
