Looking at my teeth today, I like where they are and I think the braces are ready to come off. My ortho had mentioned that once I like my teeth I can schedule a deband, so I think I'll be doing that before my next appointment. I'll think it through for a while, and if I still think it's the right thing to do I'll give the office a call. Hopefully things go well.

    Wow ... that sounds so exciting. It's great that your ortho is giving you the space to make this decision. I'm sure he's happy with your teeth ... and is now waiting for you to feel the same!

    He's very picky and a perfectionist sometimes so I'm glad he's letting me choose or he'd probably be making finishing bends forever. He said that most of his teenage patients don't let him do finishing bends so he's glad I let him. I thought that was kind of odd. But, I'm happy with them and I can't wait to be free!
