I'm using crest white strips advanced seal. They stay on really well which helps a lot. They're kinda like stickers, lol. They hurt my gums at first, probably because they were sensitive after debanding. My teeth are a little sensitive to cold, especially after removal of the strips, but it lessens ...

I said I'd post my deband story, so here it is

I was really nervous for a few days before my debanding because I thought my orthodontist wouldn't let me get them off and I didn't want to get my hopes up. That nervousness grew when I realized my ortho's office door was locked. I was worried for a second, but a staff member opened the door. It was so worth it! I love my new smile. I'll follow up with the story, I got a few scares but everything went as planned!

I'm sooo excited to get my braces off. Hopefully it actually happens! I'm nervous they're going to say I'm not ready yet. It would be very disappointing to have to tell everyone I can't get them off yet. I'm just hoping for the best and expecting the worst. I can't really focus on much else right now, I'm so excited! I have 53 hours to go I'll update again when they're off! I don't want to bug you guys too much with these countdown posts!

I called my dentist this morning and changed my next appointment to my deband appointment, April 2nd! So ten more days of braces! I'm beyond excited.

Looking at my teeth today, I like where they are and I think the braces are ready to come off. My ortho had mentioned that once I like my teeth I can schedule a deband, so I think I'll be doing that before my next appointment. I'll think it through for a while, and if I still think it's the right thing to do I'll give the office a call. Hopefully things go well.

I went in for another appointment today and they basically just asked if I wanted anything changed. I asked to get one of my canines pulled outward to match the other and to have my bottom teeth leveled out. They made a few bends and I was done. My Orthodontist informed me that when I'm satisfied with how my teeth look he'll schedule me for deband! I'm hoping the little quirks will be corrected by my next appointment in 2 weeks so I can get my braces off, FINALLY! I'm so happy this is finally ...

Today, I'm staying home because I'm sick, so I thought I'd write.

I remember having a power chain on for 7 or 8 months to keep the small gaps in between my molars closed, and I recently got it off to see how stable my teeth are. I'm really concerned that my molars will form gaps again and that I'll have to get the chain back on and get delayed for another few months.
