Hey boys and girls, just a quickie.

Had another adjustment on tuesday... (they come around quickly these days)... and got my bottom wire changed again. This time to a thicker one, but unfortunately he had to leave a tooth un-engaged.... mega bummed, but i guess these things will happen. He was unable to get the thicker wire to bend towards the tooth, so we're waiting for more space to appear. I can't help but think that this could be a reacurring problem. This wouldn't be a big deal but for the fact that im moving back to the UK in June, and will be the first time much of my family, and all my friends, have seen me since i had them put on. I am really hoping that they will be much straighter when i go back, but with over a year left in the treatment, i cant expect too much too soon.

Anyways, I'm happy with how they are moving. With (most of) the bottom row engaged they can really start to move into the right place, and hopefully will be in line with the canines for the first time in well over 10 years.

Oh yeah, in other news, i can now touch my bottom incisors with the top incisors for the first time in around 10 years. I was unable to do that cos of my overbite and no matter how i moved my jaw around, they never touched. Although they only just about touch, and it is a little tender when they do, i am really happy and excited for the future.

Will let you know how things continue.
For now... peace x

Hang in there! My front bottom teeth were much like yours and now 8mos later they're finally in line with the others! :)

your top teeth already look so much better!

i had a similar issue on the bottom where we couldn't bracket one of the teeth. in time, they will shift around enough to get the wire on there. just hang in there!
