Will it be worth it?...... Definitely. Thats what i keep telling myself.

Yesterday i got my spacers put in. For anyone who is unsure of this process, it takes about 30 seconds and consists of tiny rubber bands being inserted between your back teeth, top and bottom.

Apart from the sensation that you have something caught in your teeth, you dont feel a thing. Till you wake up the next morning that is.

When i woke up, everything felt fine. Sure my teeth were slightly tender, but nothing to complain about. That was until i went to eat something.

Holly Sh!t that hurts. Damm.....that's what i call a wake up call. Now i know what you all mean when you say that spacers seriously SUCK. Soft foods will become your best friend.

7 Days to go till the braces go on. I seriously can't wait. I has felt like forever waiting for this day to arrive over the last months. With all the appointments, teeth extractions, i can finally say its all happening.

Ceramic on the top, metal on the bottom.
BRING IT ON !!!!!

You go boy! You nailed it about the spacers... they hurt the day after as they are moving the teeth around them sooo fast to make room for those molar bands. Don't fear, but cause in 1 week they are gone and you are ready to rock and roll! Ceramic on top and metal bottom is a great combo.

I look forward to reading about your progress.

    Love your attitude!

Good luck getting the brackets on and remember to keep well hydrated and to use plenty of wax if any brackets rub.

All the best with your treatment!
