Life before braces!

My teeth on both the top and bottom jaw are crowded at the front. It's completely for vanity purposes that I have always wanted braces. All of my siblings have perfectly straight teeth and have not needed braces. I have wanted them for some time and have decided to stop procrastinating.

A few weeks ago I had an assessment with an orthodontist.

He took many pictures and x-rays/scans and a mold of my teeth (which was grape flavor!) to determine the best course of treatment.

I have made the decision to undergo ortho treatment with Incognito braces. This is a good solution for me because I am in a client facing job and it is important to me that they are not visible.

This week I will go back to the orthodontist for the braces molding session. As they are individually customised so I am expecting more grape flavoured molding stuff and more photos.

It will be interesting to document the process from start to finish. It may also become a form of encouragement and distraction from the pain involved...

More updates soon.

I can relate to the "It may also become a form of encouragement and distraction from the pain involved..." That is why I just entered a blog post at 4 am! It is definitely going to be worth it in the end!
