Braces....Take 2!

Hi All,

I know that I haven't been very active on here but quite honestly my time in braces thus far has been pretty boring. Even though I have had braces before, I forgot just how easy it is, especially these days.

As you may know I started in January of 09 and I just got word yesterday that I'll be de-banded mid December 09. Sweet!

Well, it's been 20 days and it's been pretty smooth sailing so far. I have the feeling that this 12-18 months is going to fly by.

My gaps were too close the first time around to get bands on all four of my back teeth so I had to do another round of spacers and then this past Monday we got the last four rear bands on. (With some elbow grease) They are slightly annoying but overall it makes a huge difference. I can tell that everything seems ...

This weekend was a lot of fun, therefore it resulted in much smiling and laughing. This, in turn, resulted in some abrasive actions...within my mouth.

Well, I've finally made the decision to have my teeth straightened again.

After many trips to several dentists and orthodontists and a lot of talking about different appliances and procedures, I chose an ortho and went with standard porcelain braces.

I wasn't too bummed out until they starting bonding them to my teeth...my mood took a real dive at that point.

After a couple of days now, the only real annoyance is the amount of extra stuff in my mouth. ...
