Braces....Take 2!

Hi All,

I know that I haven't been very active on here but quite honestly my time in braces thus far has been pretty boring. Even though I have had braces before, I forgot just how easy it is, especially these days.

As you may know I started in January of 09 and I just got word yesterday that I'll be de-banded mid December 09. Sweet!

So here are some pics of my current configuration. They aren't the clearest, but you get the idea. Yesterday they did some steps in my archwires and also gave me a fun double triangle on each side with bummer bands. Needless to say, my teeth are a bit on the sensitive side today.

Now, because things were so boring up until now, I get to have some drama.

Today I have a root canal scheduled to go through an existing crown....fun times. Then, in a couple of days I have an appointment for the permanent filling. I'm hoping that the root canal/filling/crown last at least a few years as the crown is less than 2 years old. I'll also admit that I'm a bit nervous in regards to the root canal being done while I'm in Ortho treatment...but it can't wait so I'm diving in.

So, I am really excited about my early de-banding date and I'll be sure to get updates on here as I get more done.
