Braces....Take 2!

Well, I've finally made the decision to have my teeth straightened again.

After many trips to several dentists and orthodontists and a lot of talking about different appliances and procedures, I chose an ortho and went with standard porcelain braces.

I wasn't too bummed out until they starting bonding them to my teeth...my mood took a real dive at that point.

After a couple of days now, the only real annoyance is the amount of extra stuff in my mouth. Otherwise these porcelain brackets seem to be a lot more comfortable than what I remember the steels ones being.

I'll finish up with a couple "Before" pictures and will try to keep up the blog.

    good for you.. your teeth actually look pretty damn good already.. I'm sure you will love the results... and i'd imagine it will happen quickly for you. I look forward to watching your improvements.

    I agree with those above ... you've started with good teeth, so your finishing results should be amazing.

    The ceramic brackets you've got are usually comfy, due to their smooth finish and the way the bracket 'leans' back towards the tooth. Good luck with getting used to the 'full' mouth feeling. That is a common issue, and one that usually disappears quickly.
