Final Stages

That's what I felt around 2:30AM this morning. I woke up again at 5:30 still hurting. My jaw has been hurting at the "break site" and I thought maybe my jaw was messed up. I also thought maybe it was latest rubber band configuration. I called the surgeon since their office opened first, and they thought it was my braces. So I called the ortho. He told me to take out my rubber bands for 2-3 days and see if that helps. (I had 4 of them.) He also said to limit my talking and jaw movement ...

Yep that's right. I went to the ortho Wed. and I had been planning on asking him how much longer I had till my braces came off since I feel like I've been progressing well post surgery. I said, "So, how long till my braces come off? (insert sarcasm) Any chance they'll be off by the end of the August? I only want an approximate time frame, not a specific date."
