I had a "follow up" appointment with my surgeon today. He said things have progressed a whole lot faster than he would have expected when I first saw him. He thinks this is partially due to me changes orthos. They did some xrays and then I got to talk to him. Before I left, the date for my surgery was set. It will be on May 17, 10 days after college graduation. I'll go in early in the morning, go through 2-6 hours of surgery, and then stay in the hospital till probably sometime the next day just so they can make sure there's no complications (he doesn't expect any).

He said the ortho still has some minor tweaks to make but that he would contact him to let him know what he wants done.

I have to say that I'm excited! I'll graduate from college, get my room at home looking like mine, and then have surgery.
