Well its been a bit over 9 months since I began my ortho journey. My teeth were overly crowded and I was not an invisalign candidate up front, so my treatment program was to start in braces, have them removed 7 months later for my wedding. After the wedding the hope was that I would now be an invisalign candidate, else I would finish treatment in ceramic braces.

Well thankfully I was in fact a candidate after 7 months in regular braces.

A week ago I received my 1st set of trays out of 18 total. Its been painless so far and the biggest challenge has been adjusting to not snacking. Taking the trays out has been a breeze and I have managed to average between 22-23 hours a day. I typically only eat twice a day and with brushing, etc I only have the retainers out 1-1.5 hours a day!
