hey all, officialy brace free as of now! I know..im really lucky to have been in and out so quickly ( 8 months) when my original treatment plan was for 10-12 months. My ortho was especially surprised at how quickly my teeth moved. YAAA...just putting it out there...getting braces off next week!! YEAH So simple question...for those of you who have bonded lin retainers...are there different types? My fam dentist told me to ask for the one that is only bonded on each linginal canine (same she got) instead of each individual tooth as is the bonded retainer that someone i know got just a few weeks ago..both from the same ortho... HELP????
So I got a debond date of Nov 3rd! It wasnt my normal ortho who saw me, so I dont feel like I was able to talk about things with him like I would have wanted. I quess im super happy with my bottom, but Im not sure about my top teeth yet. I know they are straight, but im not sure if they are rotated properly. Hello all, So my last appointment was interesting. I had a Pan xray to see my root movement, and so far the ortho is happy with that. He actually didnt seem to pleased with how quick my teeth were moving, im not sure about this one. He said he didnt expect them to move this quick, and that we are ahead of the ballgame. So i go in to the ortho today, not aware that it is a differnt ortho (they do the whole 2-3 orthos per office thing), and I was dissapointed to note that they didnt change one thing! They just took the wire out, and put the exact same one back in!! Its been over 2 months now and no change?!?!?!? I dont know if its because of the ortho that saw me isint aware of my case, or if its to do with him being new (just recently became a ortho) and not knowing what to do with my case. Tomorow, Tomorow, its only a day away..... Or in my case 10 hrs before ill be wired up again. Unfortunatly, im nervous and perhaps slightly shy about having to go to work afterwards. I dont know, ah well. I started taking pics of before, and my plan is to take a pic every night for the duration of treatment and make a quick movie out of it. Hope it works. And yes, I have lots of water and chapstick ready to go for tomorow.
So I see my countdown ticker slowly comeing close to the day I get Damon clears put on. Excited, nervous, really excited, really nervous! So after a second consultation appointment, I have decided to go ahead with treatment. So for the 2nd time in my life I will be getting wired.
