Update-Bigger wire...now squared!

Well I have matured to a bigger wire, square one also. I quess this is a good thing, wow could i ever feel it when they put the new wires in..ouch!
Well next visit i think he plans on doing xrays as well, I see that my teeth have moved (in partiular the bottom ones), but I think it will be better when he reshapes the teeth likehe said he would. My teeth are very round and obviously want them square so they look better.
Anyhoe, I shallpost some pics.
The only downside i hae just come to realize with Damon Clear, is that they become much more noticable when the wire gets bigger. Back to work tomorw, lets see if they notice??

One pic is the newest one taken today, and the other one is from day one with braces. Looking at these two I definitely see changes, however not as dramatic as I would lik.

    I can't wait to see your pics, lauralea! I want to see what a square wire looks like. I'm such a dork...

    Do people at work still notice/comment on your braces? Not one person at my job says anything. I've only had ONE comment from a stranger at all in the past 2 months. It was a teacher at a workshop I was at, and she was very sweet. She said, "I notice you have braces. I was thinking of getting them, too," and asked me a little bit about them.

    Congrats on "graduating" to your next wire, and I look forward to your pics!

    Great to read you're porgressing well and here's to that continuing!

    I'm the same as you catgyrl ... after all this time wearing metal brackets, no one comments ... and never has. I don't talk about having braces and I'm not a person who enjoys hearing other's talking about their health issues, so I don't think other's should have to listen to me!

    Congrats on your progress, Lauralea! Hopefully the discomfort of the new wire subsides quickly...

    Funny how it goes, as I have had people comment on my Invisalign on more than one occasion! Maybe it's because everyone knows what traditional braces are but are uncertain what the heck these little knobs on my teeth are for!

    I just uploaded some pics, im hopeing he will do much shaping of the teeth soon, I still find my teeth big and rather round.

    Catgyrl the only diference with the square wire is tha the actual wire itsel is square [ ] rather than O. THe actual shape of the wire is the same. I dont know what the square does, but I know I could feel the change in diameter size as it hurt a little more than before. However most of the discomfort is gone now.
