I can actually get the aligners out without them hurting now :-) and just figuring how to do it without a mirror. How ever I have my work xmas do tonight so plan on leaving them out for a few hours so hoping I don't set myself back to far.
I;ve also found I'm quite self concious without the brace in, quite aware of one of the attachments and I think it sticks out quite a lot when I smile - but sure that's a good thing that I'd rather have the brace in than out!
Keeping my fingers crossed for no problems for the next couple of weeks now, Going to visit the parents then going to Iceland for christmas, all new challenges to the routine of wearing the brace!
