Just a quick update! Trays 4 went fine, did seems to split it quite badly towards the end of the last week so had to adjust the way I was taking the tray out and this seemed to prevent any further splitting.

Have noticed a little difficulty speaking, Had to give a presentation in uni so took my trays out for this as I've had problems with my /th/ and /s/, I don't think its that noticeable but I hate doing presentations anyway so didn't need anything else to be concious of. went ok anyway so fingers crossed for decent marks!

Just put in set 5 quite easily :-) so 3 more weeks and then back to the Ortho for my next lot! Not sure what's going to happen, I assume I'm due some more filing on my lowers. urgh!
But looking forward to having the next lot as I can compare to my first set to see if there's any major changes!

Great that your progress is moving along reasonably smoothly Trace!

I reckon you did the right thing for your presentation, as no point in making this a more difficult time, when you already know you don't like this type of thing. Hope it all went well for you!

Good luck with your next ortho appointment and here's to you enjoying seeing the differences between your new trays and your first set.

I have actually had the same problem with tray 2. I started tray 2 last week and I my bottom tray has started to split! I was thinking of calling my ortho, but after reading your post I guess its not a big deal? I just need to be careful for the next week not to make it split more than it has already. The fit still feels just as secure as it did before the split happen, so I am not going to stress over it. I am definitely looking forward to tray 3 next week!
