Nightmare of a weekend!

hi all,
I managed to loose my bottom aligner this weekend. Got to work on Saturday morning and took my brace out for a cuppa and put them loose in my pocket - Duh! somewhere in that few minute I managed to loose my bottom set. Unfortunately I was also sleeping in so that left me without a brace from the Sat morning til the Sunday night. After a weekend of stress and hunting I managed to find it on the Sunday afternoon in the snow where it must have fallen out my pocket - relief!!! and after a good clean it went back in fine so luckily it all turned out ok but I have learnt a good lesson on being more careful when i take out my aligners!!!

    Good for your searching skills!

    We tell our patients that when they take any removable appliances out, they must go into a container ... preferably a clear one.

    Oh my goodness, I'm so glad you found it! I would have been in full on panic mode. I'm glad to hear it still fit too

    Thanks guys! If was a hard weekend of hunting but was a huge relief when I found it!!! (and I'm so glad i did because I'm sure who ever came across it otherwise would have wondered what on earth they'd found!!!)
