Post progress here.
Nothing exciting to report since the last post, been a pretty poor invisalign user of last couple of months to be fair, been going dar longer than the recommended time with the out per day, but anyway today was the day! Invisalign finished! So turned up at the dentist, wasn't 100% sure what to expect, First he put on the retainer, lots of horrible drilly/ filey tools - not quite sure what was going on but wasn't pleasant, but had my retainer by the end of it! They lots more horrible filey ...
Hey, not posted for a while but everything has been going smoothly, so not a lot to report! Been to ortho today, just had my last IPR - Whoo i hate all that! and been given trays 18-22. My next appointment is 13th Dec so more or less a year from having my first trays and I will have got through 22 of them! Time does fly with invisalign! Feels like I'm on the homeward stretch now at last T x
Hey, All going smoothly in general. Although, was hoping to see changes by now and don't feel there are that many. I'm not half way through my treatment on my top teeth yet so guess I should be patient. Overall they seem slightly better but when comparing to photographs taken for my first tray, movement seems minimal. I think my top arch has widened and the gap where I had my tooth out is starting to close, although I can't figure out where the movement to close this has come from. ...
Hey, trays 8 and 9 gone smoothly, been back today had IPR done on the upper teeth, was over quickly and not bad at all :-) got another lot of IPR in 10 weeks. Ortho happy with my progress so all good! Tx
Had my first official appointment with my Ortho yesterday after having the initial trays. I was expecting lots of IPR and scary stuff, but none of that happened He just checked the spaces between my teeth said they were ok and sent me away with more trays. I have to go back before tray ten for IPR on my top teeth, then by looking at the Clincheck I should only have one more lot of IPR to go. My ortho put my new trays in for me, and managed to catch my cheek in them :-( Think ...
Hi, I feel like the dentist has been my new second home the last couple of weeks! First I had to go back to have my attachment reattached. Apparently attachments falling off is very rare and my ortho seemed surprised and suspicious I didn't know how I lost it. maybe he though I was testing the strength trying to ply it off or something! who knows! What is the most common way for attachments to come off? Was worse than I expected having it put back on. forgot about all the tools involved ...
Hi all, put my number 2 set of aligners in last night, I could definitely feel the difference, they were really tight but again just pressure not painful. I woke up this morning and was dreading the fight I was going to have to take them out. If it was anything like my first attempt at the first set it would takes ages! Surprisingly them came out really easily! :-) Think I might be back to the problem of not been able to eat anything too hard for a couple of days until my teeth settle ...
