Been back to the Ortho today, got trays 23-27 :-) Getting there now, should be done by end of April All going well, Updated my photos and there's some great differences between now and before I first started! (thankfully!) Asked about retainers as he hasn't mentioned this before, but looks like I'll have a fixed one at the end which is what I want. The world of straight teeth is nearly here! x
My tray snapped on me in work tonight - damn it! but its 2 weeks tonight so no problems moving on to the next set. Until, I got home went to put number 14 in and checked the number on the ones I has in. I had number 12 in my mouth, 13 wasn't in its packaging - I was sure that's what I should of been wearing anyway. After a hunt through my handbag i found another set of trays, some where along the line with 13, I've had a muddle up and put 12 back in! Duh!!! just put 13 in again and they're pretty ...
Hi, tray 7 in, no major problems apart from the one tooth as usual. But, I went out the other night, I looked at the photos the next day, and there's ones of me with a huge smile and I don;t feel the need to cringe about my teeth!!! There's no huge changes to my teeth as of yet I'm only on set 7 of 29, they do still stick out but there's enough to give me that little bit of confidence! Happy Happy me! Roll on tray 29!!!
I'm having problems,I put my new set of trays in on Monday night and my bottom ones are cutting my tongue to pieces, I've filed it down don't really know if its worked because my tongue is so painful anyway. I tried putting my last trays back in and that still hurt so until my tongue heals I think everything is going to hurt :-( I've had my bottoms out most of the day and am hoping my tongue will heal so I can wear them again, going to put them back in to go to bed. I know its bad to have ...
Just a quick update! Trays 4 went fine, did seems to split it quite badly towards the end of the last week so had to adjust the way I was taking the tray out and this seemed to prevent any further splitting. Have noticed a little difficulty speaking, Had to give a presentation in uni so took my trays out for this as I've had problems with my /th/ and /s/, I don't think its that noticeable but I hate doing presentations anyway so didn't need anything else to be concious of. went ok ...
Hi, Just put tray number 4 in. Had a few problems getting it over an attachment at the bottom but snapped in ok on the 3rd attempt. Both felt really tight when I put them in but seemed to have eased off now which is good, i already have a cold, don't need another reason for a sleepless night! Only one more set of trays left before its back to see my ortho! Time's flying already!!!
Just a short and sweet update... At some point I have lost an attachment - no idea where or when but noticed yesterday lunchtime something felt different and checked with my brace and one had gone walk about! Anyway got an appointment for Friday to get that sorted. Just put my third set of aligners in also, had a little bit of difficulty with the bottom one, didn't seem to be fitting over my attachment right but took it out and tried again and it was fine. So far no pain again! ...
hi all, I managed to loose my bottom aligner this weekend. Got to work on Saturday morning and took my brace out for a cuppa and put them loose in my pocket - Duh! somewhere in that few minute I managed to loose my bottom set. Unfortunately I was also sleeping in so that left me without a brace from the Sat morning til the Sunday night. After a weekend of stress and hunting I managed to find it on the Sunday afternoon in the snow where it must have fallen out my pocket - relief!!! ...
For some reason my aligners are really annoying me today, I've had this set in a week tonight. They're not so much painful as just annoying, like a really dull Ache, or the kinda sensation you get after someone runs their nails down a blackboard! I've been pretty good at keeping them in since I've got back off hols with this set so my teeth shouldn't have moved back and they've loosened off lots since I've had them in but I am struggling. I took some pain killers and took them out to have ...

Hi, just spent a week in Iceland with my Invisalign. I wasn't as well behaved with it as I should of been, left it out for a few hours on a couple of evenings when I went out but went back in fine. Also my friend was getting a bit fed up of me brushing my teeth on the most random places, on buses, in quiet streets! But it had to be done!!! But altogether no problems going in and out really easy now. Did have a little worry before christmas, my bottom aligner split a little, but contacted ...
I can actually get the aligners out without them hurting now :-) and just figuring how to do it without a mirror. How ever I have my work xmas do tonight so plan on leaving them out for a few hours so hoping I don't set myself back to far. I;ve also found I'm quite self concious without the brace in, quite aware of one of the attachments and I think it sticks out quite a lot when I smile - but sure that's a good thing that I'd rather have the brace in than out! Keeping my fingers ...
