13th Adjustment (w/ PICS!!) and some GREAT NEWS!!!

I had my 13th adjustment this morning. My ortho says that my teeth are looking good and I'm so close to being done. He just wants to work on closing up my bite on my right side. I will still be in my triangle elastic configuration on my left side, but my right side will be a little different. It's kind of like a Class II configuration and triangle configuration combined into one (shown below):

I can already start seeing a difference in my bite on my right side! And I can definitely feel the pressure. I am sure in the next couple weeks my teeth are really going to come together. I also heard my ortho talk about doing some IPR on my lower teeth at my next adjustment.

So here is the GREAT news!! My orthodontist said that next my next adjustment will be my FINAL adjustment and he's hoping to schedule my debanding date after that!! WOOHOO!!!!! Are you serious?? Don't play with my emotions! So it looks like October will be the month I will have naked teeth. I just have to make sure that I'm diligent with my elastics wear the next 6 weeks. OMG I'm so stoked right now. I'm trying not to keep my hopes up but how can you not when they tell you things like that?!



6 weeks until my next adjustment! I can't wait!

    WHOOOO! I am SO happy for you. I think it will happen in October, simply because your ortho is the one who brought it up (not like when I badgered mine for an answer). I think I had that triangle config at one time, too. Can't wait for the next update!

    WOW!!! awesome. Congrats I think your teeth look amazing. I love elastics, it shocks me how they can close up space so quickly!! Here is to the next 6 weeks going by super fast. You sound very happy LOL

    Thanks everyone! Just 2 more adjustments and I'll be brace free! I can't wait :-) Just in time for Halloween and all that hard and sticky candy! muahaha!

    Yup! I have the same configuration on mine and it has been working VERY fast! I remember telling you about it in a post and how I didn't wanna condone you trying it, but that it worked pretty darn quick! I'm glad your Ortho had ya do it! :) I'm so stoked for your debanding because I've loved tracking your progress even before I ever signed up to this site! I love reading your stuff, and I'm gonna be sad if you don't keep up with your blogs after October :'( sniff sniff

    @abbaker - I know right??! I need to NOT keep my hopes up. We'll see how things go at my next adjustment! I swear if they delay my debanding until Nov/Dec I will cry!

    @BlondeAddiction - Awww thanks! I will definitely still be here after October! I wanna see everyone's smiles! Though I have a feeling you will all be debanded before me lol. I also have another blog I maintain at toneandfit.wordpress.com. It's about my progress of trying to lose weight, working out, staying fit, etc.
