So my ortho wants to try and rotate my teeth using elastics so that my upper teeth match the grooves of my lower teeth. Like gears in a clock. Does that make sense? Here are some comparison pics:



I see very SLIGHT differences. I hate this stage in the braces process. I feel like everything takes 10x longer to close up or move now! It's only been 3 weeks since my last adjustment so I know I'm just being impatient lol

*sigh*

My next adjustment is next week. I'll keep you posted!

    Eek... to be honest I don't really see much of anything happening there. Then again I have an untrained eye. But I'm sure something must be happening since you seem to have a good ortho. I agree though, worst stage ever... Chin up girl!

    Edit: wait! I think your right lateral incisor has moved up a bit???

    @abbaker Yep! Also if you look at some of my lower brackets they don't line up with the same upper brackets. I hate these slight differences. I just want to be done already!! *shakes fist*

    Hey. I see it, slight but they have moved. The spaces are smaller for sure.

    YES WORST STAGE ever!!! Though I must say when I started my countdown I was at 62 days or something and now at 22 days LOL. Trying not to look at my teeth and over analyze LOL

    I have some similar spaces and I really don't think they are going to be closed in time, I am at the point that I don't even care, just want these things off. 600 days ago when I got these things I would be very happy with my teeth even half as close.

    Good luck, I would think you should have a date next week, your teeth look awesome!! Keep us posted.

    Oh and wow you get the comparison pics perfectly lined up, LOL

    @Ellebraced All I want are all of my teeth to touch when I bite down. My ortho said I will be done in October but right now I feel that they will be on until Christmas! Yeah I tried my VERY best to take the same angle for my progress pics! Trust me when I say I took that pic several times lol!

    @NarcoAngel Yeah but I do have a ton of gaps and spaces on my right side. If they weren't there I swear I'd probably have my braces off by now! I think my ortho is a perfectionist lol

    Gah, your ortho really IS a perfectionist lol! I'd be all "whatev, close enough" lol!! I see a tiny change but hey, it could be worse. At least you aren't sporting a gap between your front teeth the thickness of a toothpick right now. :( hang in there girly! Can't wait to see your naked teeth!

    I can definitely see that the overjet has been pulled back a little bit. I'm glad you're having good luck with the Class II configuration elastics. They didn't fare too well for me. I think my ortho is a perfectionist, too, but my whining to him everymonth must be overriding that, cuz I think he's ready to get rid of me. LOL!
