hey. I recently had lingual braces put on my bottom teeth and regular ones on the top.. and wow the first few days I thought I wasn't going to be able to eat anything.. its been 13 days (but who's counting) and there is virtually no pain, and i pretty much eat whatever I want just A LOT more slower and I dont ever bite with my front teeth. I'm not really sure if that is such a good idea though because i figure they need to continue to be used. I am just scared to break a brace. All I really do differently is use the waterpik a lot . Doc says 18months

Fantastic that you've adjusted so well LiquidBrace!

Here's to you soon seeing progress and enjoying seeing your bite unfold as you get closer to your end result!

Good luck with your lingual braces! I've had mine for over 2 months and I am supper happy with them. The most difficult thing for me is eating and not breaking them. I try to be careful, but they are so fragile...

I m supper happy with them though, good luck to you.

I was terrified of breaking my braces after the bottom ones came on but everything has been ok so far. I know everyone says it but its true - you really do get used to them. I eat pretty much everything...sadly I also spend a lot more time than braceless folk in front of the mirror
