I recently had an infection (or what I thought) near the back of my mouth covering my wisdom tooth. I was in some pain so my aunt told me to go to an oral surgeon. I did so the next day. After the x-rays the doctor said that I had four impacted wisdom teeth and they would need to be removed. He also told me my bottom 2 were touching the nerves on my lower jaw, which he said he has never seen anything like that in his whole career. And it could potentially be dangerous and lead to some numbness. Anyway, I ended up doing the surgery that day (yesterday) and wow, hearing your teeth cracking in your mouth is something you would only want to do once! (or never haha) but it had to be done. Now I am in slight discomfort but that comes with it. (yesterday was somewhat brutal) I had 1 muffin and 1 ice the entire day. today is definetely a lot better.
P.S. - I had my braces adjusted the day before my wisdom teeth were removed, and my ortho said it was fine! Apparently it wasn't. Not mad at him but I think he should have been more aware of the wisdom teeth coming in and the infection.
P.S.S.- Sorry its been a while since writing on here, I will post pictures of my progress soon Thanks for reading!

Oh man... I totally sympathize with you. Maybe it was best that you got them done on the spur of the moment; that way you didn't have a chance to get anxious. And that tooth-cracking sound is soooooo strange. I had the laughing gas when I had mine done, so I heard the noise... but didn't really care because I was on my way to another planet.

Glad you didn't have too much pain afterward.

So glad your wisdom teeth removal went well. I had my taken out in two separate surgeries, and I am glad that I was completely unaware of what was going on due to the wonderful medication I was given...

Now you have one less thing to worry about! Enjoy your weekend - relax and rest!

Great to read that you're recovering quickly and smoothly after having your wisdom teeth removed.

Good luck to everything continuing to go well!
