I apologise for the 4 month delay in making a blog. Anyway i got my braces on the 17/08/09. I was lucky enough to get government funding for 2years ortho care otherwise i wouldnt have gotten braces. At first i was excited to get them and the first day was fine, but very weird as i couldnt really talk due to the wire across the top if my mouth. The second day was ok as well they didnt hurt as much as i thought they would which was good. The third day however was difficult due to the fact i still couldnt talk properly and i had to work so it made for an interesting day.

My first adjustment they changed my top archwire, it didnt really hurt much only when i tried to eat. At first i was really worried about eating because i was scared i would break a bracket. After about a month and a half i stopped worrying so much and started eating all the normal foods again.

My second adjustment they changed my bottom archwire and put this thing behind my front top 2 teeth to correct my bite.. They also gave me the dreaded rubber bands which i hated at first as i could get them on. Im used to them now. They also cleaned my teeth aswell.

My 3rd adjust is Janurary 5th so im looking forward to that. My teeth have moved so much and im amazed how different they are in just 4 months (well my top front 2 teeth atleast). Im so glad that i have been able to get braces.
