hi.
I'm new to this sight and the world of braces. I just started invisalign and have found alot of blogs with peoples experience and thought it'd be a fun thing to start. I was wondering if u thought there were already enough or if I should startone. if so where and how?

also. about the invisalign. how long did it take u to get used to them? and instead if filing irritated edges can u use dental wax???

any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated!!

This is a great place to keep your blog Mandy.

Every persons experience is individual ... so your blog will not be the same as anyone else.

If you have irritating edges on your aligners, you will need to file them, as your mouth may toughen, but it won't toughen enough to cope with rough edges. Often after a persons mouth has been allowed to get damaged, due to the edges not being smoothed, wax is necessary for a couple of days, to allow that area to heal.
    Good luck with your treatment!

Hello Mandy. Welcome to the forum. I just started blogging on here about my experience in February and found the forum extremely enlightening and encouraging throughout my treatment. I can tell you this much, everyone experiences the trays differently. I personally never really experienced PAIN, more so tightness in the teeth. The first set of trays or 2 impeded on my speech slightly which took some getting used to none the less; and I also felt the need to keep pushing them up with my fingers thinking they were coming out. Of course, I eventually got used to them and really never notice that they are in. Continue with your blogging, im sure you'd find this site helpful and encourage along your journey. CHEERS!
