Yesterday, July 29 2010 was my fourth adjusmtent. I was looking forward to my appointment 'cause I wanted to see what part of my treatment came next. I was expecting rubber bands at this appointment because after reading so many blogs and posts it seemed as if this was the time to get them, but I didn't. I had a powerchain on my lower six fron teeth and it was taken off at this appointment. My ortho checked my x-rays from my prior visit and said my roots looked healthy. It's always good to know my roots are being checked periodically. I heard the ortho tell his assistant that I was getting a thicker square wire...I heard him say 16 by 25 on both upper and lower...I don't know if this is the size or not... So basically this adjustment was just to change the wire into a thicker one...nothing special. He also said that this wire should give me more expansion and that everything was looking good.

Before my ortho checked my teeth he was checking a patient that was next to me that only had her retainer and her teeth looked beautiful....It was nice to see her 'cause that reassured me that my ortho knows what he is doing and hopefully my final outcome will be just as beautiful.

Oohh I forgot to mention that today is day 2 after my adjustment and I feel ZERO discomfort.....so Yay!
