Well I have great news:
- The gap made up its mind and closed!
- The ortho said the uppers look great and did nothing to them! =D
- There is only one thing that needed to be done: That is the bend in the lower wire to bring that tooth forward and de-rotate
- Seems like I won't need elastics! I hear that they are a pain and I don't need them! YES!
- The lower teeth hurt but the uppers don't! ^_^
- Now the treatment is all about bending the wire!
- Looks like I won't have braces when I go to Paris over spring break!
- Looks like they will be off sometime in March, as long as there are no screw-ups! =)
- Spring break is in April!
Only 2 problems:
- My gum was bleeding a little bit because lately I haven't really been flossing. That is a wake-up call for me to begin flossing again or else I will have swollen gums and perfect teeth! O_O So my advice, FLOSS or else
- It looks like from my x-rays (I looked at the folder, I don't have the X-Ray
), I have an impacted 2nd molar! O_O Oh great... And I saw a wisdom tooth growing! No! Extraction! I am scared >_>
So my next appointment is 29 October!

What a funny con-wink-a-dink (sorry about that) my next appoinment is on Oct. 29th too. I just had my final wire put it and I remember them spending a lot of time bending the wire precisily. Your very lucky if you don't need elastics I had to wear mine 24/7 for 6 months and what a pain. Taking them out for lunch and then feeling the need to brush before putting them back in school. Felt like everyone's eyes were on me as I put them back in (Especially the first couple days when I still needed a mirror to see where I was putting them.Everyone staring as I tryed to balance the hand mirror and get the elastics in. Good times.) But wearing them as directed payed off and now the orthodontist has put me on night-wear-only. I'm so excitied for you that you'll have them off before spring break. Hopefully there are no mess ups and they come off as scedualed. I know its what you've been waiting for. Also glad that gap decided to come to it senses and close up.So now were on the same countdown for our next appoinment: 1 month 3 weeks & 5 days till next app!!!!

It's just so far away
I'm so excitied because at this appoinment is when I'll sceduale the removal date. A BIG deal because I really want them off before 2009. We've gone through way too many years together. |

When I schedule my removal date I would choose morning so I could smile all day long ^_^ Here's to them being off before 2009! It's closer than you think

Great you don't need elastics. I've found them a breeze, but it's just one more thing, that if you don't need, then that's good for you! Here's to your wonderful progress continuing! |
