At last - pics of my teeth

I've never been a photographer. Well, that's a lie. I am a keen photographer but like to take pictures of other people and "things". Give me a camera and the British Queen or one of her corgi dogs and I am your man. Face the lens at me and I kinda change.

When I say "change" I don't mean the "evil possession" type of change. I remember that sort of thing only too well when my wife had an unexplained case of mouth ulcers and the doctor told her she must not eat chocolate for a week. THAT'S a change.

I mean - I get all shy and, when all is said and done, I can't see to operate the myriad of controls on the camera. You see, my photography can never be enacted without enough dials, lights and buttons to resemble the cockpit of a Boeing 747. To me, it's just not manly to have a point and shoot camera.

The fact is that a point and shoot camera would have done a better job for me. Having said that, my iphone is a "point and shoot" but sometimes, especially in low light conditions, it is more "point and sh*t". I blame the camera. I NEVER blame the photographer.

Back to my pretty-darn-useless photographs. There are 3. The top one is what my teeth looked like before the braces were put on. You can tell this because there are no braces on.

The second (middle) shot is 2 weeks after braces - Damon clear on the top.

The third (bottom) pic is 3 months into treatment (a week ago)

Have a look and you can make real fun of me whilst I am gone.

They really put your brackets really low! But you have really long teeth lol.

My teeth are no longer that the average - no longer than yours for example but they DO look like that in the later pics. I was surprised they were so low and just figured that it was something to do with my age that made them do it like that. I am used to it now.

I don't think the teeth are any longer (as stated). The brackets are placed low on uppers sometimes to pull the teeth UP, and placed high on lowers to push them DOWN. I have a few that are really high and others that are low. In fact, I have one bracket that, 10 mos later, is positioned too high on my lower canine. This week we will be removing it and placing it at the very top of that tooth to bring it down :)
