Ok,
It’s no surprise that only about 12% of Americans floss regularly. That means you!
Chances are something like 88% of the people reading this blog have food debris and plaque festering between their teeth, eating away at their enamel and ruining their gums.
Nice thought huh?!
Now, I dont wear braces anymore; probably you know how much of a hassle it is to floss with braces - it is time consuming, even with all the products on th market. So the statistic for flossing with braces is probably lower than the national average...
Well, the good news is there is something new for you to try, it is sure to save you time and improve daily oral hygiene. It is the first flat interdental space cleaner - Brytonpick. have a look at the article published here on bracesreview:

Feel free to ask any questions. See how to use it with braces at:
www.brytonpick.com

I am interested in your opinions and feedback, since I am conducting research for people with braces...I can answer any questions you may have, and I do have a limited amount of free samples I can send you to try out.
Feel free to contact me.
Thanks!

I ordered a set of three earlier in the week and they are on their way. I'll let you know how they go.

Please remember these picks do not replace flossing!

I find them great at removing stuff that gets caught between teeth ... as they slip in and out so easily. You still have to floss once daily to remove anything that has gotten under your gum.

So...I got a set of three Bryton picks today in the mail.

The delivery was quite speedy, and the materials inside, which I haven't read through yet, are very nicely produced. The picks themselves are sturdy and don't seem like they would come apart easily at all.

So I break out one of the picks and give it a whirl...reusable for 30 days? Cool!

Well, I have pretty good contact between all of my teeth and these things feel a bit too thick and abrasive for my liking. I did manage to get the pick between all of my teeth but it wasn't very easy to get it in there on most of them and I was left with that feeling that my teeth needed a second to go back into their original position. No good there.

Back to the reusable part...well after one round through the end of my pick could be described as twisted metal. Again, not good but it could just be my teeth?

I would have to say that I'm not interested in using this product after my initial go round, but I will keep these things around and give them a fair try, maybe it's just user error. If my opinion changes I'll be sure to post it up. As for now, though, I don't think Bryton picks are for me.

Anyone else have similar or different experiences?

Sounds like your teeth connections are real tight, and this has affected the pick. I have a mixture of tight through to gaps and as I'm only using it to remove stuck food, I never have it between the tight teeth ... they get left till I floss at night.

There now seems to be a loads of products available to help remove food caught ... while in braces. I think some companies must make a fortune out of us!

After eating, I also like plastic toothpicks. The ones I use have a sharp hook shaped end, and are great at removing food from between my teeth and from the brackets. I also like the tiny interdental brushes. Water swished around also does a great job!
