Hi Everyone,

So i havent actually written on my blog since i had my braces fitted. Its now been 4 months and 4 days and the progress so far has been amazing (well i think so anyway hehe). I havent had any problems with my braces at all apart from my wire popping out once, but i managed to see my ortho the next day anyway so even that wasnt a real issue. I have finally plucked up the courage to show you guys some pictures, i hated my teeth so much before that only now that they are better will i show you pictures of before and now. I would just like to say thank you to everyone who has written a blog on here you guys really pushed me into to getting braces and so far i havent looked back once. I would also like to say to anyone that is reading this who is still thinking about getting braces JUST GO FOR IT you really wont regret it

    Hi Mel!

    WOW!!!! That really is amazing progress in just 4 months. I think you got your braces just around the same time I got mine. My front teeth also slightly overlapped like yours, too, and I'm stoked to see the little, bitty gap in between your two front teeth now! I cannot wait until I see mine.

    Mel can I say I am a TAD bit jelly of your four month progress, lol! I think that your teeth are looking great. I am sure if you keep up at this rate you should be finished in NO time. Best of luck and I hope your pleased with your results thus far.

    Wow!! Your teeth are looking great! That's awesome that you haven't had any problems with them, they're going to look amazing in the end I sure hope mine look that good at the four month mark!!

    Thanks for the comments guys!!!

    Im really pleased with the results so far, however there is still a long way to go with my bite and alignment ect. I should also tell you that I did have 2 teeth removed (upper pre molars) before I got my braces so my ortho did tell me I would see movement quickly, although saying that she does seem surprised herself with the movement when I go see her!! Oh well im not complaining :-)

    Outstanding progress in such a short time Mel ... your teeth sure were keen to get aligned. it's great to compare the archwire on the two photos ... fantastic progress!

    You have the same brackets that I started my treatment with ... and ghee they look great on your teeth!
