So turned 33 and now I have my braces. Had them put on the 3rd May, so it's been a few days and it's the most uncomfortable feeling. No pain just a few cuts and bruises in my mouth, biting or chewing anything is also just not possible. Through all this discomfort though I am still happy and excited about this whole journey. At my brace fitting I opted for the ceramics and am glad that I did even though they cost about R4000 more here in SA. I will soon post some pics of the before cause the aftershocks will follow in two years....after the surgery:
