Had an adjustment today in which he added more torque to the wire to help tip the molars in.

We also added power bands to top and bottom to close spaces, in which I still have some good spaces on my bottom teeth.

My surgeon wants to see me in 2 weeks and start getting things in process and maybe set a date. Pretty excited that we are on track, as they told me surgery would be around 8 to 10 months from the start. I have my sisters wedding in May, so I may have to wait until after, although I'd be comfortable doing it 6 weeks before, so that I don't look like a chipmunk

Otherwise, my bite is definitely worse now which is a good thing as my teeth have to be straight within my arch in preparation for surgery.

The bite changes so slowly, so I haven't been in any discomfort and get pretty used to it as it gradually moves.

Pictures in my next post.

Sounds like you're making fantastic progress! Congrats on seeing the surgeon soon. I feel like I'll be following suite very soon myself. Anxious to hear when your surgery date is. Maybe we can be miserable together since I'm aiming for May 14th or shortly after.

the torquing is done by making some type of small notches is the arch wire... i'm not sure exactly though... the results we are looking for are very minor though..
right now, we are mainly focused on the closing the spaced on my bottom.

Jenn, sounds like we are on a similar timeline. Good luck.
