6 Week Ceramic Braces Update

Things are going as expected. My bite has gotten a bit worse, but this is very common as we are working on straightening the teeth within the arch at this point. It is a slow gradual change, so doesn't bother me much at all.
Still flossing is the biggest PIA, but I sit in the bathroom and take my time to do it several times per week. It is interesting that certain teeth hurt for a few days (sign of movement) here 6 weeks out. My ortho is doing adjustments every 8 weeks and was very clear that teeth will move the entire 8 weeks.

    WOW ... your teeth look so amazing to begin with, it's incredible to realise they can get any better!

    Thanks sunny. I expect my bite to keep getting worst, as my previous ortho did his best to mask my bite issues. Goes to show how important the whole picture is when getting orthodontic treatment.

    Wow! your teeth already seem perfect.. What exactly is wrong with your bite?

    You probably hear this all the time, but your teeth are looking great! But I totally understand it isn't as simple as that and you do have issues otherwise you wouldn't be in a brace!

    Your teeth are soo white, I am rather jealous!

    I have a crossbite and underbite, although you can't tell I have an underbite as it is not severe... Since my teeth don't fit together quite right, I have tmj issues... so even though teeth look OK, a functional bite is KEY

    My bite feels the same, I can't really get my front teeth to join any longer though, so I don't expect to pull lettuce off a sandwich anytime soon.
