Just got braces 2 day ago!!

Ok so I just got braces two days ago (on Monday) and it is so uncomfortable!! It didn't hurt when they put them on but the inside of my mouth has all these sores from the brackets and wires even with the wax over them! How long does it usually hurt for? I can barely eat. At least I'll probably lost a few pounds, lol! Doc Said my teeth should be straight by Xmas =D It sucks thi cuz my facial profile totally looks like I have brace in my mouth =(

    yay! Congrats! yeah the first few days do feel weird. I was fortunate not to feel pain just discomfort & soreness. Your teeth will start to feel loose and it is the strangest feeling!. I got my braces 13 days ago I can eat but my teeth are sore when I chew it hurts. Good luck!

    I was thinking the same thing! LOL Maybe he meant it will be straight with braces on? How long did he say your treatment plan was?

    Congrats i got mine on Augest 6th and my teeth are a little sensitive but not very noticable but i still have sores so all i can say is WAX WAX WAX it truley works if you dont have any you can get it at any drugstore
