One Year In...

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TODAY!!!!

Ok today is the first day of the rest of my life for healthy teeth. It is my one year anniversary and I never thought it would get here so fast. I mean people told me that it would go pretty fast but I was thinking NO WAY it couldn't possibly be this fast. My goodness was I wrong. It has been one year today since I made that committment to behave and take the best care of my teeth I have ever done in my life.

I now am on a countdown to see how much longer it will be that I will have these taken off and get my retainers. I know I am nowhere near the completion factor on the top teeth, but these bottoms are just about done and are ready, READY to come out. I really have learned SO much in this year from the 'dental professionals' and just overall other people who have been where I am at and who are going through it with me. I look forward to maybe having these off before next August... but if it is longer I will count my blessings and the fact that I am coming to a completion with it in the future.

YAY me... oh I posted some more photos of my teeth and their progression the other day and after looking at old pics and older pictures I do see some definite improvement. Thanks you guys and I look forward to the countdown to getting them off.

    Horray!! I remember my one-year anniversary. I felt amazing!! I knew I still had several months left, but there is something very proud about reaching that 12-month mark. I am nearing 17 months now (sigh). I am SO ready to have these things off, but I'm glad every day that I got them and I know that my "patience" will pay off haha.

    Denise my braces twin!!!! I am so happy that I reached it and I am just trying not to stare at the calendar, lol! I am happy to just be into the double digit year, I mean just think this time next year *ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL* I could be out of braces with a brand new smile. I think however that my bottoms are just about done, ironically.
    She just keeps adding a bigger wire and powerchains to it, lol! I wanted to ask her are we done yet with the bottoms???? She told me at the last appointment JUST ABOUT! I was doing my happy dance in the chair, lol!

    Thanks Sunny! I am UBER excited to have reached the double digits, lol! Thanks for the continued encouragement
