Ok! 10 days later and now I can finally eat again. The pain really only lasted 7 days which I guess were ok seeing as though I was convinced that the pain would never go away I had to cut one of my wires already on the top teeth because I noticed that my teeth had already begun to move.
I believe that my powerchains are doing their duty and assisting me in the best way possible. Although I don't see my ortho again until around the 20th of next month and I am already ready for my next set of powerchains. I am almost coming up on month 10 and if they keep on moving the way that they are, I could be seeing some improvement toward total completion by December!

Ok so off I go to the wonderful journey of flossing, brushing and rinsing to keep the teeth looking great. Have a great week to all of my readers and I will be back soon!

One of the key signs of space closure is that the wire is going to start to feel long, since the perimeter of your arch is effectively becoming smaller. Great to hear your spaces are closing well!

Sounds like you're coming right along!! How exciting!! I have my next appointment on the 29th. I go into the heaviest gauge steel wire, both top and bottom and I'm DREADING the pain. I am happy though to know it's my last wire change! Horray for good treatment

Thank you Denise and Phoenix! I can't wait until I get to the next wire movement, but just to know that I am on my powerchains makes me happy!
