post surgery update

Since I was able to stay awake a lil longer I thought I would post an update. I had my surgery on tuesday (the second), for my palate opened and wisdom removed. I don't know how many times she started turning my expander but i already have a gap in my front teeth a kinda big one and I'm kinda happy but not really. Let me say wisdom teeth stink to get taken out. I been quite swollen and as it seems to go down it increases later on. I was able to look at where they were removed. My lowers looks like it was legit in my jaw/cheek. Also feel like they had to cut my lip and I had stiches in there but I cant really check since my upper lip in still really swollen like alot. In the process of setting up follow-ups for orthodontist and surgeron and cancelling my cleaning. I do know I hate these bloody noses I am gettin from the expander sincve the palate is the base of the nose. Oh well off to try and eat something. hopefully the swelling goes down fast but they said up to 48 hrs I'll have swelling for and I fianlly am getting my voice back, I had to have a breathing tube put it

    Kim you poor kitten! To have two biggies in one day. I wonder if they knew the wisdom teeth were going to be rough ahead of time?

    Here's to a speedy recovery. I'm very happy with how things are going on my end.

    Fantastic that it's over and now your palate has been expanded, the bone can reform and your arch will be so much wider ... fantastic!

    Hey guys thanks for the comments, I was told that i could wait to have them removed but they suggested since they were impacted just to remove them while I was under and recover from both. And Jude im working on pictures I'm still really swollen and I don't like it so once swelling goes down I will post some. as for activations I've finally been able to do 2 of them myself and boy let me tell u it kinda tough, my mom has to help me full activate it. I want the expander out. I cant eat, cant chew my diet has been serbert, ice cream, jellos and tomato soup that been cooled and i also have been able to eat a scrambled egg that has also been cooled off. My mom been taking good care of me ,aking sure im comfortable and everything but i'm back off to lay down i may venture out in a few to go get some food that i can eat
