Progress

So I am a little over 5 weeks post op and i cannot be more pleased with the results. I still am a tiny bit swollen but not for nothing it isnt as bad as I had pictured. Only thing that I dislike is not being able to sleep through the night because i cannot sleep on my side, and that I am legit constantly hungry. I have an appointment next week with the surgeon and hopefully will get the ok to chew. Was never banded or had a bite splint. Also set up my ortho appointment so that I can get these god ...

So got all my details on surgery the other day. Will be happening on April 4th and I am on a soft food diet for 6 weeks after which means no chewing, getting all my favorites in before hand. Anyways nothing new has happened as now I am not seeing the other until 2 weeks after I have my surgery. Will keep your guys posted.

So today is my birthday and I woke up to find a bracket had became uncemented. This is now number to so I will be going to ortho tmrw morning at 8:45. Also has anyone had a painful expirence with a molar bracket??? it feels like some of the bite on the back broke off and my gum and tooth is so sensitive. Not to be confused though I am still in surgical hooks and wires, as I have my consult next month 1/10.

So nothing really has changed besides doing 2 more sets of impressions and biting down on a blue arch thingy. I believe that one set was for my surgeon who i will be calling tomorrow morning and the other i thought i over heard was for retainers. Oh and i almost went my whole treatment without loosing a bracket. So I am currently at the year mark from my palate expander surgery and lets just say I have come a long way in that year. Yesterday I had an appointment for comparison impressions no wire change or nothing. Pretty much everything is the same as last month. I will be going back to them next week for the surgical wires and to have my canine rotated and then I am all set. Ello all how is everyone today??

Just got back from my appointment, been going every 3 weeks for the last month for basically fine tuning and slenderizing, and it officially done finally lol. Today ortho did something I wasnt expecting, after slenderizing she told the assistant to double tie my lower braces, one under wire then one over and let me tell you that she had some problems tieing with no wire, apparently it very rarely happens but why would they do this? i know top one closed ...

So alot of stuff has happened since I last posted. Sorry I still dont have camera I need to get it so everyone can see my progress. I get told everyday from my coworkers how amazing my teeth look and my jaw, reason they say this is they've seen me since i had the huge gap in betwen my front teeth which now is completely gone. I did get a thicker wire on my bottoms pretty much just leveling stuff off on the bottoms then some rotating on the top and fine tuning. Got another chain on front 6 teeth ...

So yes I believe 6 months have gone by since first getting my braces. Man time really does fly. I did get used of my back brackets so thats some good news. They are no longer rubbing my cheeks. I did just have a appointment on tuesday and man was it a good one. I finally got the expander taken out . It feels so much better with nothing arcoss the roof of my mouth. They bonded the 2 ceramic brackets I needed as well as the bands for my molars. I do not know if I will need ...

Hey all so I have gone and had my spacers put and and taken out and now have my bonded molar bands on my 3rd molars. They did this now so that when my palate expander is taken out the can just keep going with my progress. The bands were put on last week and I have had a week of hell. I am running into the problem that I cant eat, this is because my bottom 3rd molars are slanted and tilted inwards so the clip thingy scratches against my cheecks causing irration. Hi guys I've been gone for a while and been busy so I havent been able to post much. Since my last post I've had another adjustment and a dental cleaning. So I've been gone alot so let me update you with some things. Since my last post i had gone back to ortho twice, first was to fix the coils which was simple cuz they just added the ligs that my hyginest told me i didnt need. I went back again cuz my wire was push thru the back tie and seemed to be not in that tiny hole it was but oh well they cut it. Had my adjustment today and still nothing really has changed. Howdy all so I went to my ortho today for my adjustment besides adding ceramic uppers nothing really changed. The wire they used im assuming is the smallest and lightest or something, as they dont want to do any movement yet for a few adjustments since the teeth would be moving into air. Since week 8 my last blog the gap has closed alot. I forgot to take a smile shot this week i'm half asleep doing all this cause I took and ibuprofin as already some teeth were sensitive. so i finally got a camera. Not much has gone on, my gap started closing as they said it would. Didnt eat much on thanksgiving as everything kept getting stuck so all i had was turkey. Next appointment is Dec 14th with a wire change and upper ceramic added. So went back into my ortho just for measurements. I had a 4 mm gap on friday when I went in and today I'm finished it got to 6mm and let me tell u I have happy it is done. Everything now lines up minus the huge gap I have atm. They also took some after pictures of my profile, bite, and smile post expander and let me tell u there was changes.
