Finally happy to smile!

Here's progress photos just after getting my 8th adjustment yesterday. Im back in elastics... blah. Ortho explained going to start moving upper teeth backward (protrusion)

Not sure what this wire is called that is crossed through 3 teeth. There was no powerchain this ...

Alrighty! 6th Adjustment progress. Closing gaps on top. My first set of full row power chain on upper. I will post this to my albums too.

Yea you will notice, I'm not too obsessed with my lower teeth yet... not a whole lot of change there, since the ortho seems to be focusing on upper lately. Midline is still very off between upper and lower teeth.

Front



4 brackets adjusted. Two on front teeth to even out the teeth. Two on back molars. Power chains on all 4 canines. Only 2 gaps to close. ...

For my second adjustment, they wanted to put the wire through my canine, but it's still too far toward the middle, the wire would have had to go straight down to meet the next inscisor. So, this adjustment is soley focusing on shifting the canine to a "better position". Ugh, I have a feeling I'll be in braces for longer than 2 years already. I think he could have put a stronger chain attachment, this one is really thin, thinner than the ones he put on my bottom canines in the first adjustment. ...

Got my wires in place with 2 power chains and 2 bands.
