For some reason, my lower left brackets are really irritating my cheek. I have puffy area of my cheek the size of a penny... and my cheek is really sore. It started yesterday, I figured it was just from the backet, and would just put some wax on it, and it would go away. All the other cheek irriation I have had was just minor scraping of my cheeks, and didnt get puffy. I actually looked in my mouth this morning, and it looked like an open sore, and my cheek is visibly puffy from the outside. Hopefully ...

3302012.JPG Canine's finally in jail with the rest. I just hate how it's pulling my incisor. That gap happened the first day! Oh, and the powerchain across the lower teeth hurt really bad (for the first 2 days- it's ok now).

My canine is moving! Yay. Next week, I'm pretty sure they will run the wire through the canine this time. Ouch though.

Sometimes I swear it's at least come DOWN getting closer to the wire. But I don't really remember what it was like before either. The angle of the photo is different and that makes it hard too!

I have only had my first adjustment since the 4th, but I am noticing 3 of my canines moving (there's gaps!), it is the 4th canine that I am most worried about. I am anxious to find out if it's actually going to move, or if it's ankylosed (fused to the bone). The canine is not in the wire with the rest of the teeth, it's just got a band attached to it.

I am not liking that one upper middle tooth is now hanging lower. I hope this doesn't get worse. My upper canines are not even lose, and I think they're going to be very tough and painful to ...

..but I can't. All I feel is creaking, and pulsing in my teeth as they attempt to move. So freaking annoying. It always is worse when I am trying to sleep.

Ok so I cant believe I haven't mentioned this, but I dread going to bed since two weeks ago. My front teeth have shifted in a way thay makes closing my teeth painful. I tend to clench my teeth at night so I tried temporary fixes such as putting a q tip across my bite. That worked the first night, but then I woke up and some teeth were sore.

Then I tried biting on a towel at night. That helped, but of course that meant my mouth was open and my teetn were dry waking up.

OK, so this is not a braces post, but my boyfriend proposed last friday night. Is it sad that all I could think was, "why now?" I have wanted this engagement to happen for 2 years, but now all I can think about is, how I don't want to get married in braces!

Ok, my lower teeth keep banging my upper tooth, and it is PAINFUL when this happens. I do it nearly every time I talk, or when my jaw clenches. I am scared my teeth are going to chip or break.

Well, gums have stopped bleeding for the most part. Just a lot of ooze (TMI!). My front teeth are sore from the added pressure of the extractions. They don't hurt much for the most part. Just feels really weird missing 4 perfectly healthy teeth. I had to make a phone call this morning, and realized that I could barely say my phone number! Job interview went well this morning - they were impressed I still managed to make the interview!

Things I ate today: Carnation breakfast mixed ...

HOLY EFFING HELL. This better be worth it!! Nitrous Oxide only made my body feel 100 lbs heavier, and my hands and feet numb - much like having too much to drink.... though I have never had too much to drink that I ever passed out. Like, when you can't feel your nose. I didn't have the experience of laughing, or feeling "high as a kite", just very heavy, and actually carrying out a normal conversation with the oral surgeon. I asked the assistant to talk about her dog, that seemed to take ...

So I am getting four pre molars out on Monday, and I wondering how much it will hurt??? I am using the Nitrous Oxide method, they couldn't get me in for IV for a long time. I am really scared.
