Treatment plan meeting was yesterday; Reviewed the pictures and molds that was taken during the initial consultation; Deep bite and crowding both on upper and lower; Metal braces and rubber bands were advised; Spacers/Separators were put in the lower molars (one on each side), did not hurt at all took Tylenol 500 mg. July 14th is the banding/fitting date. Today was the worst, tried eating rice and cannot bite down or chew without the pain but it was tolerable.

Hello Everyone! My name is Nikki from San Francisco,California. Hope this post finds you well. I just recently started seeing an orthodontist for my teeth; I have crowding on both upper and lower teeth and an overbite.
I had my first consultation last two weeks ago and I had my second consultation for the records; x rays and impressions last Thursday,June 14,2012. I will have the treatment plans discussed and maybe the braces application on the 28th if I don't have to do extractions.

I am super excited on this life changing experience and I was just curious on how the process is? If you can share your experiences that will be really great! I am also very nervous about the soreness or the pain! Thanks!
