Has anyone ever experinced a fleeting aggressive side just out of the blue, this feeling of anger for no apparent reason comes on so quick and havent a clue why? Sometimes noise just from the telly seems so make my ears feel very sensitive?
I dont smoke or drink and eat quite healthly and am of normal weight and also can get my 9 hours or more sleep. i have noticed just recently that a tend to clench my jaws together when i am lost in housework. since then ive been ...

i dont want to sound like a proper nut job, but has anyone ever heard of cranial pressure due to dental appliances. if theres a link and if anyone is going through this right now give us a shout.

been feeling pretty low of late and everytime i get an adjustment or something changed i go back to square one and feel incredibly low and often like ive caught a bug and trying to shake it off.. two weeks ago i got my top arch wire changed to a stronger one within two days i started to feel really ill, prior to that when i got my metal bands in back teeth i took a while to recover from that too and i dont mean pain.. i mean really fatigued.. low ebb feeling sometimes ...

Was meant to go back to dental hospital on 18th jan but was feeling pretty nauseuas and had to cancel, but prior to that my top left spacer came out just 3 days after i got them in. so the next day i got an emergency appointment to put it in again, but with in a couple of hours it popped out again . so i thought leave it until 18th jan but had to cancel and get appointment for 3 weeks time forgetting to tell them my spacer was out .
so phoned this morning ...

Well i went for another adjustment today. ya fizzer! my bottom front left teeth were very tender today. Had colour change to blue and spacers put in back molars top and bottom just starting to feel the tightness now. Next appointment next week.

Was soooo grinning for ages in local shop today.
Standing there closing my teeth together i could actually feel my bottom front and top front touching (closing normally ). I know this doesnt sound very exciting, but to me it was a fantastic feeeling ! They have never touched together before and they feel as though theve moved more again.

Well guys

Thats my first adjustment done! Must admit it was a bit sore in places but everything is going well. I now have pink teeth.
Lower teeth are still needing a fair wee bit to move but the top is moving perfectly well. Question; recently ive been waking up through the night clenching my teeth together voluntarily i must be doing this as i sleep has anyone experienced this?

Hope everyones getting along fine. I go for my first adjustment this morning its been quite a while. Not so happy that am getting this less than two weeks before chrimbo thou!! Still the odd tooth hear and there each day is sore and WOW i can officially floss my front top teeth. Prior to this i could go nowhere near them my whole mouth was so sore. Changed the size of the small interdental brushes to slightly bigger too

This month is flying by and soon itll be christmas cant beleive its been a month already. In saying that every day different teeth have been sore in different ways . Yesterday it was my front left tooth giving me jip today its my four front lower teeth. My mouth is now well and truelly adjusted except for snagging my inside mouth on the end wire when i yawn.

Well its day four and the pain is subsiding only today i havent wished to go back to bed. Felt like i had double vision yesterday and couldnt look at tv or pc screens too long. But tonight i can feel a bit more pull again so i might take some pain reliever soon. Getting used to them being there permanently now. Still cant bite anything because they feel incredibly wobbly still, although the back molars are a bit stronger today.

Yes got them on top and bottom yesterday before lunch. I was fine with the brackets but as soon as the wire was put on the pressure was quite something.
The ortho said ill probably experience more pressure as a result of the position of my teeth just now. Because they are in a arch shape and not curved.
It took alot of time to adjust to the feeling of something like tin foil was stuck in my ...

Fantastic news am going to get my braces on on the 19th of next month am ectastic and cant wait. This has been a long wait for me. I ve got a feeling that itll be a bit sore for a few days and ill probably be cleaning my teeth every minute of the day .. any tips ?
Orthodontist is lovely. Really creepy to see the moulds of my teeth though, mines look like a triangular shape than a round arch. > should be like this ).

I have not been on for a while but am back with a new appointment to visit the orthodontist that wil be doing my braces.
I think its going to be a more of "get to know you" appointment first, because shes a bit new. But if i get anything more it will be a bonus ?!!

Had my appointment the other day and ill be getting braces in three months time. They ve got such a long waiting list but alas am on it. oh and the surgery its now only the bottom jaw if all goes well. i am now ecstatic. Ill be on pins till sept, hehe
Have any of you had to wait quite a length for actually getting you braces on ?
