4th day in braces and bracket replacement

Hello Everyone! so today is my forth day in braces and so far its going well. My teeth are sore and a little loose. I tried to eat a wrap I couldn't chew because my teeth are loose. Weird feeling! So I just had soup instead. Compared to the first day I had a chicken wrap and ate that without a problem. However, I am not in pain . Can anyone answer when the pain will make its grand appearance? lol I am scared its gonna happen while I am at work this week.

Oh yeah I also I got my bracket placed back on my molar and she removed the wire and placed it back on that hurt! It was sensitive. I took my motrin as soon as I got in my car and I was good the rest of the day just couldn't chew on anything :(

    I'm not sure why you are not experiencing pain but be thankful because I am on day four with braces and I am in a lot of pain especially from poking wires/brackets and trying to chew.

    so far I am thankful just waiting for the pain! I wonder why I am not experiencing any? Hmm I hope its working! lol It better ! But it is uncomfortable to chew my teeth are so sensitive and loose. Are your teeth loose as well? Also do you have wax? You should apply it on the brackets that are bothering you. If your wire is sticking out from your last bracket my ortho said it was ok to cut it with a nail trimmer.

    It is different for everyone. When I first got my braces I wasn't in pain at all. The only time I was in pain was when they gave me thicker wires at my adjustment and my teeth were sensitive when I ate food, and when I first got elastics and power chains. Some people have higher pain tolerance than others. Good luck!

    Oh ok good to know! today I felt some sharp pain but its tolerable. BUT it sucks because I cannot eat! How long did it take you to eat solids? My teeth are so loose its the weirdest feeling! Its like when I take a bite into something my teeth are gonna come out of my gums lol ahhhhh

    I have not had a bit of pain in 6 months. the most I have had is sensitivity when biting. I think my ortho is toying with me.
