The clenching is still there but I am either getting used to it or it's not as bad. Also, I am down to wearing the wax on three brackets on two of the two molars in the back and one on the bottom right back molar.

I can definitely floss easier between certain teeth so this is movement going on albeit slowly which I guess is good. I can even floss the back molars much easier now that I have in the past.

This afternoon, I go for my semi-annual cleaning.

    let us know how that goes~!! my cleaning was a couple of months ago and all I could say is YUK! They used a power wash device thing, and blasted my teeth with a salty peroxidy solution. It was horrible, but did a good job of blasting away grime and stuff. She said I was doing a good job flossing but somehow accumulated a lot of tarter behind my bottom teeth. I guess I was so fixated on those brackets and in the nooks and crannys that I neglected the back! Got lectured and promised to do better : )

    Candymomof3 - my cleaning went very well. The hygienist said I had very little plaque/tartar (considering my last cleaning was in January). My dentist then came in to check and said the gums are in great shape and she also said she could tell the teeth have moved. I told them that I wanted to schedule 2 additional cleanings, i.e. 1 every quarter since I have braces.
