Feeling the pressure of this adjustment

I am not in pain to the point where I need medication, I am definitely feeling the pressure from this latest adjustment. At least this is my excuse for eating soft / comfort food.

The rubber band going across the front teeth feels weird but I am sure I will get used to that soon enough. Thankfully, I am only wearing it at nights.

I wonder if you have the same rubber band going across your front teeth as I do (see my blog for pics). I wear mine all day and all night, except for eating. Mostly because, after you've stopped wearing your elastics for 2 hours, your teeth begin to shift back to how they were. It takes teeth 8 hours to start moving again. My ortho told me I could wear mine only in the evenings and at night too but I didn't see the point, as I'd only be getting a few hours of good movement out of it if I did that. So I wear mine all the time. I got used to it really fast, and now when it's not there I feel very "exposed" with out it haha. Good luck, and hope the pressure doesn't get any worse!

Denise - my apologies but I had problems logging in but that seems to be fixed now.

I looked at your pics and yes, the rubber band looks the same like mine.
