Smarty pants that I am, I tried to bite down on something semi soft ... I tawt I taw a Putty Tat or did I see stars? The roots must be moving because sheeesh the upper right quadrant is really sensitive still. I'm grateful that the sensitivity is not a constant thing but rather when I bite into something semi soft or harder.

I can actually feel that my bite is different and it feels kind of weird but when I look in the mirror, I am happy. I keep looking in the mirror as though something is going to happen in a second .

Loving my comfort food though. Oh well, life is too short ... I am enjoying the positives.

You have such a great attitude, Phoenix! I totally laughed out loud at the title of this blog. There was a time recently (and I'm sure it will come again in the future), where my upper-right teeth were incredibly sensitive, too. When I floss, the gum was completely numb; yet when I brushed, I'd get a little "zing!" Then in a day or two, it was gone. Just something we have to put up with for ... oh... a couple years.

I still look in the mirror multiple times a day, and I'm so happy that YOU'RE happy when you do so.

    Good luck to you!

    Pheonix,

I totally understand that feeling. I had my new braces on Mon. and then one came off on Wed. I've had that "stars" feeling several times this week. It also seems that every morning when I wake up, my bite is different. I currently can only put a few teeth together to chew and it's horrible.

Good luck and yay for comfort food!
