Getting better ..

Today was a better day as far as the sensitivity / tenderness when I bite down. I notice the teeth in the upper right quadrant seems to be more tender/sensitive than the rest of my teeth.

I hope this passes soon. Other than that the sores seem to have subsided in the original areas and I have been applying wax in the upper left quadrant to the molars.

One day at a time and plugging along.

Here I am thinking about pizza. When will I be able to eat pizza again?

    Great that things are improving!

I was able to eat pizza a few days after getting my braces ... but it didn't quite feel the same, as I cut it into small pieces, as I wasn't confident enough to bite pieces off.

I'm guessing it took me a couple of weeks to get the confidence to bite the pizza and chew it that way. They can leave a mess around your teeth, but nothing that rinsing with water as you drink and a toothpick when the eating is over, can't easily fix. Also I chew the pizza with my molars, so that keeps the majority of food away from the front of mouth!

Be brave ... go try one now! Even cutting it up, is better than not having one at all!

Glad to read that things are improving. I would try Sunny's suggestion of cutting up a pizza to eat. It won't be the same since part of the fun is folding the pizza (at least for me, LOL) but it's better than no pizza at all.

Here's hoping improvement for the upper right quadrant is on the way.
