My second wire change was this past Friday and luckily, the sensitivity when I bite down on my molars is nowhere as bad as it was.

I was able to resume relatively normal eating by Saturday.

Based on the recommendations on the board, I have upped my hydration to see if this will help alleviate any sores forming, in addition to using lots of wax to prevent the rubbing.

I am such an impatient person and having the braces is giving me a run for my money and a good lesson in having patience.

Great your adjustment went well and that you're able to be more in control now!

Orthodontic treatment really does teach us patience ... especially in the later months, when a persons teeth look straight and the bite feels good, but work still needs to be done, especially below the gum line.

Keep working at your hydration levels and here's to your mouth feeling great and you not needing any wax very soon!
