Well, I can definitely tell something is going on and I know that is a good thing. Last night I tried to eat normally and felt the pain/pressure on the upper left fourth and bottom right third teeth. The ortho did tell me that I would feel some pain/pressure.

Thank goodness my pain threshold is pretty high because I actually do not need an pain meds. I just cannot bite down into anything too hard. It's a good excuse for me to have soft comfort foods .

I wish I could take pictures but cannot seem to get it right (despite Sunny's tips). My midline is on the money (at least to me) and my teeth look pretty good considering I have another 4 months to go. No more elastis either as he says the bite is looking pretty good and held without the elastics for 4 weeks. I will have to ask the ortho's office to take pics for me the next time I am there.

Off to eat some comfort food now!

I apologize in advance... but I had to LAUGH at the title of this blog! I think every one of us has said, "OW OW OW!" at least once after each adjustment.

You must be so excited to almost be done! Yes, the pics take a little practice. I wish i'd practiced more prior to getting braced - the pics I took that morning are awful: No flash... didn't know about the macro setting... bad angles... I've got it down now, though.

Enjoy that ice cream and pudding!

Sounds like you're in the home stretch! No more elastics? Lucky you!! I think I will be in them until the bitter end. I also love the OW OW OW. One time on my facebook page, I simply listed "ow ow ow frickedy ow" and every single person knew why I posted it haha. Just think, you're so very very close to not having any more tooth pain! Can you imagine?! To me it is a beautiful dream...

    Pleased you're going ok Phoenix!

Sorry about the photos ... are you using the macro setting? The macros setting is usually a small flower icon.

Keep trying ... I'm sure it will work with practise!

Cathy - I have to laugh at myself ... it helps.

    Cathy/Denise/Sunny - I'm sure you know how I feel.

Sunny by the time I get this macro thing down I will have the tooth implant. I am so technologically challenged it is a shame.
