Not nearly as painful as Tray #2. This one felt tight and there was pressure last night when I put it on. This morning my mouth was sore but now its 10:40am and I feel like I've been wearing them the whole week. Even when I took them out for breakfast it wasn't nearly as painful as taking out tray 2. Yay for less pain. In two weeks I go in for my cleaning and get my next 3 trays.
I experienced my first cracked tray yesterday. The good thing is, it was time for me to start a new set of trays last night, but now I'm a little nervous about this and future trays cracking. Everything's coming along well. I am still not able to really see any progress, but I've had 2 people tell me that my teeth look "different". I had my first 3-month cleaning since I've had Invisalign and the hygienist said that my gums and teeth look great and to ...

DSC00852.jpgDSC00848.jpgDSC00854.jpg Okay so not much new as I said early they are boring now 1) My natural smile now 2) Side view, no overbite really 3) New elastics You can see my new upside down elastics in the one pic. I think my big front teeth are on an angle though?? Or is it my smile?? Midline still a bit off but I guess he will wait closer to the end to fix that? Anyways ...
via my blog at: Wired Journey It's only been 2 weeks and I can see and feel a difference in my bite. Teeth are now touching that weren't touching before! I was wondering what my ortho had planned when he was tweaking my wire. Awesome! Even though my bite is INFINITELY better than before I had braces, he still wants to bring my lower teeth down more, which may require a wire change or something else. I might not be in my last wires now. Here are some pics! Week 64 - ...
Hi guys Well Its true braces get very boring. I had my 10th adjustment they said everything looked GOOD and I did a great job wearing my elastics to move my lower jaw forward/upper backwards so now after about 6 months of the same elastic configuration I am now in the holding position (upside down triangles) I can't believe my jaw is finally where it should be, I started with a 10mm overbite which is crazy and now its great with only elastics use and wire adjustments, no forsus ...
People are right, when you can't see the progress unless you study the photos. My lower teeth are showing the most, because they had power chains. I am assuming because I had a slight cross bite, they needed to correct the bottom more before correcting the top. Im amazed. I didn't think my lower left canine was even moving. There is no gap like the right side, but apparently, it's moved inward. Here's before: The lower row almost in a straight line ...

Hello! So I REALLY need to start this blog because I don't think I can go through this otherwise! Reading the stories of others is so encouraging and makes me feel so much better about going through this... I know it had to be done, buy MY GOD is it painful or what! I've had braces before when I was 12 years old and nothing came out of it 'cause I moved countries and my parents were too scared to take FOUR of my teeth out to make the room in my mouth... So I just aimlessly walked around with METAL ...
Good grief!!! It's been FOUR-AND-A-HALF-MONTHS since I last wrote here. It's pretty much been a no news is good news sort of situation. Lots of subtle changes, no big woes. As of today I've been in braces for 1 year 3 months 3 weeks and 5 days. Gotta love counters. If a civilian <ha ha> asks how long I've been wearing braces I've been rounding up to 1.5 years. We've got some catching up to do so please get comfy. * My bottom teeth look great. I ...

Hi everyone. I am 29 years old and had been embarassed about my fron tooth for as long as I can remember. So for my birthday present before I hit the big 30 I got braces. While my ortho advised me it will take about 18-24 months, ue to my military status I only have 13 months to get done what I need to get done. My ortho is prior service and thys very understanding. I am getting braces and amazing care at an amazing and cost effective prize, with the understanding that I will terminate ...
On Monday January 29th I got new springs put in. My rubberbands had started irritating my lips so I havent wornn them in about a month and a half. The Ortho said I won't be getting my braces off in March as I thought. I really can't blame anyone but my myself. Not to mention these rubber bands are killing my mouth. I think this has been the worse pain ever. The pain is like a throbbing pain.

I'm not super self-conscious about them, but I do wish I had listened and gotten them when I was in middle school, rather than waiting so long and then NEEDING them. Regardless, it's not terrible. Since my first adjustment, I have not noticed that much change. Just slight gaps by 2 of my canines. As I'm reading getting more acquainted with the different types of braces, I am wishing I had gone with Damon. Grr.
